The opportunity to spend a day out with the ladies is one that is never to be missed.
That’s why Laura and I joined thousands of other women from across Brisbane at the annual High Tea Party hosted by Sofitel on 13 and 14 April.

The event rolled out the red carpet welcoming ladies into several amazing stalls featuring fashions, beauty, homewares and lifestyle adornments provided by partners from across Australia.
I loved this store – Wine Stoppers Australia. You must check out their Facebook. They have the perfect gift ideas for any wine, champagne or even beer loving ladies you may know. The stall is from Warana, Sunshine Coast.

The two day event had lots to offer. You could just please your eyes by browsing or even triy items before buying. There were several workshops and opportunities to get involved in, such as getting your hair (Price Attack), make up and nails done, test tasting some of the wines (Tyrrell’s Wines) and other beverages (Bundaberg Brewed Drinks) and treating yourself to hand massages and beautiful perfumes.

The event was topped off with the decadent High Tea sitting in the ballroom featuring four parades per day from Living Silk fashions. Living Silk will also be leading the parades throughout the Melbourne (20-21 July) and Sydney (2-3 November) High Tea events.
You must please check out the beautiful video that Laura has put together with highlights from across the weekend.
Photos from the parade and behind the scenes of it can be found at our Facebook here.
Many thanks to Alison from the High Tea Party for letting us to be a part of this event (photographing and filming) as well as to Karen and Olivia from Living Silk in Paddington for letting me assist with the Tamblyn’s models backstage.
Also just announced, it will be back in Brisbane on 29 – 30 March 2014. I can’t wait to be a part of it again.
In the meantime, please enjoy the other photos I took from across the weekend.
