Chilliwow VIP Launch Night

It was like a Mexican wave hit Constance Street in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley on Thursday night, after VIP guests gathered to celebrate the official opening of Chilliwow bar.

Chilliwow is different to your standard mexican food outlet that you can find in Brisbane City. It’s an actual fully themed Mexican cantina bar serving liquor, tachos and chilli dogs.

Front the moment you step in you feel as though you’ve literally landed in Mexico. The attention to detail in the decor (moustache cut out straws, Mexican photo booth and a voice over in the ladies toilet which someone said is Mexican speaking lessons) is totally impressive.

I was asked to attend the VIP evening by good friend Julia Rose, owner of Wedding Flowers by Julia Rose.

I assisted Julia on the evening by handing out fresh floral headpieces to ladies and taking pictures to share on Instagram. By the end of the night more than 100 guests, including some guys were decked out in flowers. The crowd looked like a sea of colourful flowers.
