Designer Choon Ho Yoon of label ARCHE brought to life his collection ‘Greece’ on the level 54 runway of the IFC Mall at Seoul Fashion Week.
I had the opportunity to interview Choon to find out the inspiration behind his collection.
Choon said, the concept of ARCHE for Spring/Summer 2014 is a story of a day in Greece.
Not just your average black and white collection, Choon explained his designs give a pure feeling of the Mediterranean expressed through the blue and green colours which are based on white.
The fabrics used are see-through in silk and some laces and the print fabric is unique because it is ARCHE’s own.
If you look closely on the white based designs, the print is of a bay tree and rope which represents maximised pureness and femininity.
This suits the target of ARCHE’s brand to complete the dignity of women with urban prestige style to a T.
Check out the photos I took during the parade. One of my favourite looks from this collection is the white chequered see-through silk skirt with the white top featuring a zig zag navvy print, very chic!
