An amazing day in the media for Interlaced Media supporting Chicks in Pink!

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been asking friends and family to jump onboard and help support my team for the International Women’s Day Fun Run for Mater Chicks in Pink this Sunday.

I’m proud to say I’ve managed to put together a team of 6 fabulous Brisbane fashionista’s to take part, including fashion blogger Yolanda from Bnestyle, fashion blogger and designer Lexi Wittke, designer Sarah Hulcombe and hairstylists Marselly Conway, Shannon Strike and Tanya Wright. We might even have two fellow ladies joining in on Sunday.

Just yesterday we hit a milestone beating our goal to raise $500 for breast cancer. Today we continued to raise the bar receiving even more donations, so thank you to everyone.

A major highlight of today was our teams feature piece in the City North News newspaper. It was so great to receive this coverage because it has enabled me to help promote the event and the cause, as well as to share my personal story of breast cancer through mum and to encourage the community to support.

My interview with B105’s Labby, Stav and Abby also aired just before 9am as I was walking into work. In case you missed it, here is the clip B105 and Mater kindly gave me to share with you all:
