2015 Korean Cultural Festival Brisbane

This was my first Korean Cultural Festival in Brisbane. It was so warming to be around a culture I am so fond of and eagerly learning to better understand.

I’ve travelled to Seoul twice and plan to go back again this October for fashion week. However having this Korean festival in the heart of Brisbane City at King George Square, was just a simple way of getting closer to the people I love at home.

The event had crowds come and go throughout the whole day with mainly most watching the entertainment on the stage and making their way around the different food stalls trying all the traditional cuisine.

I’d be interested in attending similar events like this in future to meet and take people’s photos and to be able to communicate so I can learn the language better.
