Review: Seoul Fashion Week FW16 – Soulpot Studio

The Fall Winter Seoul Fashion Week has been and gone and while I was unable to get myself back to Seoul, I have been grateful to still be in close contact with a beautiful label by the name of Soulpot Studio.

To think it was only last season that I had the absolute amazing chance to go backstage to photograph and experience the talents of the designer and entire crew around me, this season when viewing from my own seat at home in Australia had just as much impact.

The A/W collection is called “Mother” and is a 1st born project about connecting back to ones origin.

Designer Sujinn Kim has used mostly wool to create over-sized, cocoon and low waist shape silhouette’s.

Here are a few of my favorites from the new look book and runway show…

I’d recommend checking out the video of the runway show to feel and see for yourself just how well this designer has combined presented her poetic and naturally powerful collection.
